ROBOTS TO THE RESCUE TO HONOR MARY WEISS AND HERB SIMON
AND FEATURE A DISCUSSION BETWEEN
SENATOR EVAN BAYH AND MAYOR STEPHEN GOLDSMITH
Indianapolis, IN – Robots to the Rescue will hold its second annual fundraiser to purchase pediatric robotic therapy equipment for Riley Hospital for Children.
Honorees Mary Weiss and Herb Simon will be presented awards for their outstanding contributions to the community by Co-Chairs Jim & Jackie Morris and Margaret & Stephen Goldsmith, on Friday September 24, 2010 in the Clarian Health Entry Pavilion of Conseco Fieldhouse, with a 6:30 P.M. reception and silent auction, 7:30 P.M. dinner and program.
The evening will include the introduction of children who inspire this fundraising effort and are receiving therapy at the newly opened, first and national precedent setting Pediatric Robotics Center in the United States at Riley Hospital for Children, destined to become the model for centers around the country.
The program will feature remarks by Mayors William Hudnut and Bart Peterson, and conclude with a discussion about the present and future of Indianapolis between Senator Evan Bayh and Mayor Stephen Goldsmith.
